This is a small butterfly from a species of skippers. A skipper or skipper butterfly is a butterfly of the family Hesperiidae. They are named after their quick, darting flight habits. I found it in my backyard sometimes ago. I think I'm lucky enough to have a chance to get so close to it. This beautiful creature is so small that my fingernail looks bigger than it.
